Takeout Doubles Breakdown: (Part 4 of 24) Advancer – You Cannot Pass!

When overcaller makes a takeout double, if advancer passes, this converts the artificial double into it’s natural meaning – penalty. We only want to do this if we are certain the opponents cannot make their contract AND that doubling them will be the best score for us.
